Multimodal acquisition for Cultural Heritage

We are currently investigating methods for 3D and multimodal acquisition and material characterization for artworks, also in the context of SCAN4Reco project. In detail, we are working on robust estimation of Polynomial Texture Maps or other reflectance functions, considering light calibration and outlier segmentation.

Stages and thesis are available in collaboration with local institutions and companies and collaborations with major research centers in the field are available (ISTI CNR Pisa, CRS4 Cagliari)
